At JennaLovesTheTruth.com, I have one great purpose. I'm here to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God gave me the gift to be an artist and the passion and love to write. I want to share His Word, be a light for others, and glorify Him through the talents He's graciously given me and the desires He's placed in my heart. My life's ultimate purpose is to glorify God and be a blessing to others, and my life's calling is to share the gospel. About Jenna Loves The Truth At JennaLovesTheTruth.com my purpose is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. By God's grace, I built and designed JennaLovesTheTruth.com as a place to speak the truth in love, encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ, and point everyone to Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth and our Savior (John 8:12). The Lord gave me the gift to be an artist and the love to write and play the piano. I want to share the truth and glorify Him through the talents He's given me and the desires He's placed in my heart (Psalm 37:4). Throughout my website, you will see butterflies as a theme. Butterflies represent transformation and new life, as my own life has been transformed since being brought to saving faith in Jesus, by God's grace. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come (2 Corinthians 5:17). I want to encourage everyone to open God's Word to come to know the biblical Jesus and not a false jesus of the imagination. Scripture is the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Christ (2 Tim 3:15-17). From Genesis to Revelation, the entire Bible is God's amazing story of His mercy and saving grace toward sinners in Jesus Christ. The written Word of God tells us about Jesus, the Living Word of God. From the Old Testament through the New Testament, Scripture all points us to Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Jesus Christ is Lord to all and Savior to all who trust in Him. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone. For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. Romans 11:36 “A true man reveals himself by his words. Therefore it is the Lord Jesus Christ who is called the Word of God. Jesus Christ is God speaking. God thinks what He says, and the thoughts of God are embodied in the person, work, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His dear Son. In creating my art, I have one great purpose - for people to see Jesus. Because where my art is, there will be Scripture also. God gave me the gift to be an artist, and I want to share His Word and glorify Him through the talents He's given me. All glory belongs to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for apart from Him, I can do nothing (John 15:5), let alone be an artist. Artist Statement "Once, Picasso was asked what his paintings meant. He said, 'Do you ever know what the birds are sing ing? You don't, but you listen to them anyway. So, sometimes with art, it's important just to look.'" - Picasso. And I say wh en you see Scripture , it's important to listen and just believe. In creating my art, I have one great purpose - to tell others about Jesus and proclaim the greatest news that could ever pass through anyone's ears: the Gospel. The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead, ultimately defeating death. So now there is no condemnation for those who believe in Him, but only eternal life and eternal joy. Wherever my art is, there will be Scripture also. My art is simply a vehicle for The Truth. The Lord gave me the gift to be an artist, and I want to share His Word and glorify Him through the talents He's given me and the desires He's placed in my heart (Psalm 37:4). I love drawing God’s creatures, especially His fine and delicate work of butterflies and cute little bugs. I love pairing the power of God’s Word with some of His smallest, weakest, and most humble creatures in the universe, for God's power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and humility is the foundation of all virtues. Humility is at the heart of Christianity from which all other virtues flow. True love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are all products of humility. My hope is that when You look at my art, You read the Scripture. I pray that it plants a seed of truth in your heart that grows by God’s grace. I am not religious. I am saved by grace. My faith in Jesus is a gift.
