My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand, John 10:27-28

I Know the One Who Knows
I don't always know, but I know the One who knows.
I know Jesus, and He knows me. He helps me walk through every valley. He helps me overcome every trouble along my path. He helps me not fear the unknown in the distance. I am His sheep, and He is my Shepherd. I don't always know. But there's nothing to fear because I know the One who knows. I listen to His voice, and I follow Him.
I also know He is always with me.
I know Jesus is always with me because He tells me so (Mat 28:20). And Scripture says that Jesus dwells in my heart through faith (Ephesians 3:17). I carry Him in my heart because He is the One who carries me in His hand, where no one can snatch me away. He gives me eternal life, and I will never perish (John 10:28). Jesus is The Shepherd of my soul.
Â
I don’t ever have to rely on myself since I don't always know. But I can always rely on the One who knows everything: Jesus, The Shepherd of my soul.
He gives me everything I need and makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). He gives me rest in green pastures and leads me beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). He restores my soul and leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. (Psalm 23:3). He walks with me and comforts me through every valley (v. 4) He gives me refreshment from His living waters (John 7:37-38). He gives me earthly bread for my body and heavenly bread for my soul (John 6:51). Jesus gives me life itself since He is The Life (John 14:6). Jesus gives me everything I need, even His own life on the cross. Through simple faith in Jesus, He gives me the gift of eternal life.
I know the One who knows, and more importantly, He knows me, loves me, died for me, and is always with me. What more could I want? (Psalm 23:1)

Dear Heavenly Father,
Â
I praise You for who You are. I thank you for being so gentle and patient with me and teaching me to trust in Jesus more every day. I know Jesus is always with me, and I know that You work all things together for my good. Today, will You help me to not fear or be anxious about the unknown? Help me to trust in You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. Keep me from running ahead with that illusion of control I think I might have over the small things. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty alone, over everything, including those small things. Help me to trust in Your plan, Your timing, and Your goodness over my life, both big and small. For I know You make everything beautiful in its own time.
Â
Today, will You make the way clear for me and instruct me in the way I should go? Will You give me wisdom and make it plain to me? If I need to search it out even more, will You help me do that? Or if I need to simply wait on You, will You help me be patient and wait in hope? Lord, please show me the way and make my path straight for me.
Most importantly, help me to rejoice in You always, remembering the Good News that Jesus died for me and rose again so that I may have eternal life. I always feel Your peace when I remember the Good News. I always feel Your peace when I remember that Jesus loves me that much. I always feel Your peace when I remember that Your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:2-8
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
